Do I have to be a law firm to use Softdocs Document Automation?
No! We have a number of clients who are not in the legal industry including electricians and physiotherapists. Whilst our expertise is in legal precedents we are happy to work with you to obtain the best result for your business.

Does Softdocs offer training?
Softdocs offers training in a variety of software packages. Check our training tab for more information.

Hardware Requirements
Cabling should be category 5 with 100Mb network cards, hubs and switches. The minimum requirement for workstations is Pentium P4, 2Ghz with 1Gb RAM.

Software Requirements
The Lawdocs system utilises Microsoft Word. We support Word 2003 and later versions.

Does Lawdocs integrate with my practice management system?
Lawdocs supports integration with Open Practice, LawWare and LawMaster. Lawdocs is an open system so if you have a practice management system that is not listed here, Lawdocs may still be able to be integrated.

Can we use our own in-house precedents?
Yes, your documents can be converted to Lawdocs style documents to take advantage of the benefits of document assembly. This can be achieved by having one of your staff trained in Hotdocs development or allowing us to customise your documents for you.
