Lawdocs 7.5U is here!!!
The latest version of Lawdocs has now been released. It brings with it many of the enhancements that have been requested by you, including:
- support for Windows 7 and Office 2010;
- the ability to make an author inactive and transfer documents to another author;
- updating of Word properties in documents when they are saved in Lawdocs;
- updating of fields (e.g. document number) when documents are saved;
- new button to provide quick access to clients and contacts;
- new option for quick access buttons to allow documents that don’t require assembly (such as a matter note) to be accessed from this toolbar;
- saving Excel spreadsheets into Lawdocs;
- and more – refer to the Advisory notes sent with the notification email.
NSW Justicelink eFiling
The Justicelink eFiling is now live and we have been contacted by numerous current and new clients in relation to the provision of templates for electronic filing. These templates are now part of the UCPR precedents.
If you would like to take advantage of electronic filing, there is some setup that needs to be done. Contact us and we will arrange this for you.
Staff Changes at Softdocs
Many of you may be aware that Tony Liuzzo, our National Business Manager, has relocated to Paris following his wife’s promotion to France. Tony will continue to work in the HotDocs community in Europe and on other special projects with Softdocs.
Softdocs take this opportunity to thank Tony for his commitment and drive over many years, which has been of great benefit to the company. We are sure you will join the team at Softdocs in wishing Tony well in his new ventures.

It is very important that you use the info@softdocs.com.au email to communicate with our support people and consultants. We have had some people away on sick leave recently and as emails were being sent directly to their personal email box they were not given the swift attention that we normally provide. The info mailbox is monitored continuously and your email will be forwarded to the best person to address your issues very quickly.
